Announcements
READ THIS!!    Posted: Jun 30, 2009
I will be going to campus tomorrow (Wednesday) around 11AM. ALL assignments that are being delivered to my mailbox need to be there before I get there!!

Tomorrow's deadline    Posted: Jun 29, 2009
Tomorrow is the dealine for all work to be submitted in HLT 110. If you have been steadily submitting assignments, ignore the next few sentences. I will have to say that I am very upset with particular class. Are you waiting until the last day to turn in the assignments? Half of the class has an F average! Why? Because at this point, I have entered zeros for all unsubmitted work. I take the zeros away as you turn in assignments. Want to know your current average if the class ended tomorrow? Just email me and ask.

If you are planning on dropping off assignments to my mailbox, let me know. Thanks! Now get busy!!!!!!!!

Email problem.    Posted: Jun 27, 2009
I cannot log onto my VHCC email account. I will keep trying but I just wanted you to be aware that I cannot grade or open assignments until the account lets me log in. If you get this email (before noon on Saturday), will you go to the Discussions page on Pageout and let me know? I need to know if this problem is mine alone! Thanks!! Julie

5 days left.    Posted: Jun 25, 2009
You only have 5 more days to submit all of your work. Can you do it?

Using your personal email account?    Posted: Jun 25, 2009
If you are using your a personal email account instead of your VHCC student account, please make sure that you have forwarded your VHCC email to your personal account!! I sent a very important announcement last week about the last deadline in this class and it is sitting in your VHCC account. Please read that email immediately. Thanks!!

First Deadline Past.    Posted: Jun 17, 2009
If you haven't completed the first six chapters, you are officially behind! The first deadline has come and gone. If you have completed the first six chapters and at least 25 WWs/IEs, and I haven't already let you know your average for the first half of the class, please email me and request your current average. I ask you to do this so I can give my total attention to one student at a time.

If you have not started the class yet, you will need to turn in one chapter's worth of work EVERY day. "One chapter's worth of work" would include the discussion question for a chapter, the m/c and t/f quizzes, and 5 WWs/IEs. You can do it but you have to start now!!!!

Questions? Suggestions? Complaints? Just email me!

WOOOO! IMPORTANT!    Posted: Jun 5, 2009
There is a faulty link on Internet Exercise 10-3. Skip that whole exercise because one of the links is misdirected and you could end up with a nasty virus on your computer!

Got a question?    Posted: May 29, 2009
If you need me to answer a question, please remember to put "HLT 110" only in the subject line. It gets my attention fast! Putting something like, "Got a question" or "Please help" in the subject line blends in with the titles of the other 150 emails in my inbox!!

FAQ #1    Posted: May 29, 2009
How many Internet Exercises or Wellness Worksheets (or a combination of the 2) do I have to do for each chapter?

Answer: You do not have to do a set number for each chapter. However, once you have completed all 12 chapters, you should have a minimum of 50 IEs or WWs completed. The more you do, the better your grade!

Questions? Send me an email with "HLT 110" in the subject line and I'll get right back to you!

Problems with Foxfire    Posted: May 29, 2009
If you are having problems copying and pasting your answers for the WWs into emails, switch your browser to Explorer. Foxfire users have trouble. Sorry!
